Cesar’s Way

Cesars Way was written to help dog owners to better understand their pets, elaborating how a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with your dog can be possible, based on exercise, discipline and affection; owners learn to be their dogs pack leader and recover even the most enraged or abused dogs.

The writer of this excellent read, Cesar Millan, was well named, as both the Italian city of Milan was famous for its imperious towers and Rome for its greatest leader, Julius Caesar, his book Cesars Way, brings us a more healthy perspective of canine psychology from a self-taught pack leader himself who puts the humane treatment of pets into the medias mainstream.

The whole idea that the pack knows best, and that mother nature tells us how her creatures work, has brought Cesar Milan fame, fortune and the manifestations of his deepest childhood dreams, not to mention, a whole new way of looking at household dogs that has been the privileged and hidden knowledge of animal psychologists for years.

The pack philosophy that Cesars Way councils owners to become the pack leader for their dogs and find strategic ways to keep the dogs healthy and happy, as well as recover the lost bliss of dogs that know only rage.

His philosophy comes from growing up in rural Mexico, where he learned through observation and through his grandfather, to respect animals for what they are; animals.

With dogs, the natural need to exercise, to follow a leader and most of all, be given affection, are what he uses to get dogs to change their habits; but it all starts with the owners accepting their role as pack leaders.

While some of the older techniques such as flooding and positive punishment have been ridiculed by specialists; Cesars Way is the manifestation of the American Dream come true.
